We are also proud to once again be supported by the Ontario Arts Council's Exhibition Assistance Grant. Over the past three years, this funding has played an important role in helping us participate in One of a Kind and use the exhibition as a platform to connect directly with our audience. We are deeply grateful for the Ontario Arts Council's continued support as we grow our practice, share our work with the public, and strengthen our connection to the community.
This year will mark our third time exhibiting at One of a Kind (OOAK). While we are no longer new to this platform, this prestigious exhibition remains an important opportunity for us to refine, learn, and expand. After two years of experimenting with booth layouts and presentation, we have developed a setup that is functional, inviting, and accessible. This allows us to focus our energy on what matters most: the clothing itself and the people who connect with it.
For this edition of OOAK, we will be expanding our Mother Tongue collection, the core of Studio Dialectica's design language. Building on our existing silhouettes, we will be introducing several new up-cycled garments, including a jumpsuit, vest, wide-leg pants, and a selection of intricate accessories. These pieces will be produced using a combination of recycled and natural fibres, with particular emphasis on up-cycling traditional Indian textiles into contemporary garments.

As we continue to evolve the collection, we will be incorporating feedback gathered from previous exhibitions to elevate each piece to the highest standard of quality. Our focus will be on the thoughtful details that make garments timeless, wearable, and deeply cherished. Sustainability remains at the heart of this work, but accessibility is equally important. We believe that clothing can feel luxurious while remaining attainable to a wider audience.
Beyond the garments themselves, OOAK represents an important opportunity to strengthen Studio Dialectica's public presence. Backed by two years of market research and direct customer engagement, we will be placing greater emphasis on sharing our products, services, and mission with a broader and more diverse audience.
This year, we are particularly excited to highlight two new initiatives. The first is our made-to-order program, which will allow customers to choose from our sample sizes and carefully curated fabrics to create custom garments tailored to their preferences. The second is our Bring Your Own Textile program. Through this initiative, visitors will be invited to bring meaningful textiles from their own lives and explore how they can be transformed into new, wearable pieces. During the exhibition, we will be offering in-person consultations to discuss project ideas, helping extend the life of treasured materials while reducing textile waste.

One of a Kind continues to be a vital platform for Studio Dialectica. Each participation has shaped how we design, how we present our work, and how we connect with the public. As we prepare for our third showing, we look forward to building on everything we have learned while continuing to push our practice forward.
We look forward to sharing our newest collection, connecting with visitors, and continuing to build a more sustainable, inclusive, and community-centered future for fashion.
Sincerely,
Arushi
